As per the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, drivers charged with the following violations are required to take the 4-Hour Traffic Course mandatory or their drivers license will be suspended (Florida Statute 316.074 and 316.075)

• Passed a stopped school bus
• Highway Racing
• Highway Racing - Spectator
• Reckless Driving
• Running a red light
